History

1932		The company originates in Barcelona as a pharmaceutical laboratory.
1972		It starts operating as a private label manufacturer, specialising in cosmetics for professional use in beauty salons.
80-90		The company makes a firm commitment to developing new products to satisfy clients’ needs. It begins operating in the sectors of cosmetics for pharmacies and diet products for pharmacies.
90-00		The company enters the international market with front-line products in terms of innovation and quality.
1996		Inauguration of a new 1,500 m 2 plant in Sant Adrià de Besòs ( Barcelona).
2000		The company attains the ISO 9001: 2000 certificate, a mark of assurance that demonstrates the company’s determination to provide the highest standards of quality. The company is committed to research and development, making constant investments in both technical and human resources.
2005		Extension of the facilities to 3,000 m 2. Manufacturing capacity reaches 1,000,000 kg and more than 10,000,000 units.
2012		The company is certified with the ISO 22716 demonstrating compliance with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP). The company obtains the authorization by the Ministry of Health to produce personal hygiene products.
Today		Third generation of Magriña family takes leadership role. The positioning of the company in the sector of beauty and cosmetics is now consolidated. The number of clients who entrust Laboratorios Magriña with their product launches continues to grow.
